Redmi General Manager Wang Teng initially hinted at an imminent launch for the Redmi Turbo 4 in China.

 However, plans appear to have shifted. A well-known tipster on Weibo now claims that the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 SoC, which is set to launch in China on December 23rd, will power the device.  


The updated timeline suggests the Redmi Turbo 4 will arrive in January 2025 instead of the previously anticipated December 2024. While no official reason for the delay has been provided, speculation points to Redmi’s current focus on the Redmi K80 series, launched in November 2024.  


The Turbo 4 will serve as the successor to the Redmi Turbo 3, and an official announcement regarding its launch is still pending.

Details about the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro are yet to be officially confirmed, but popular tipster Digital Chat Station revealed that the first smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset will arrive in April 2025. Though the device name was not explicitly mentioned, leaks suggest it could be the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro.
