Honor Magic V3 Foldable Set Smartphone for Global Launch on September 5: What to Expect

 



Honor, the Chinese smartphone brand, has announced that it will globally launch the Magic V3 foldable smartphone at the Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA) in Berlin, Germany, on September 5. This announcement was made by Honor Global through a post on X (formerly known as Twitter).


Having been introduced in China last month, the Honor Magic V3 is being promoted as one of the slimmest foldable smartphones currently available. The device measures just 9.2mm in thickness when folded and an impressive 4.35mm when unfolded. Alongside the Magic V3, Honor also launched the more budget-friendly Magic Vs3, another book-style foldable, in China. However, it's still uncertain whether the Magic Vs3 will be released globally.



Honor Magic V3: Specifications Overview


According to Honor’s official website in China, the Magic V3 is equipped with a 6.43-inch OLED display featuring a 20:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2376x1060 pixels. The primary foldable display is a larger 7.92-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 2344x2156 pixels. Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and offers up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. The phone is backed by a 5150mAh battery that supports 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.


In terms of cameras, the Honor Magic V3 comes with a triple camera setup on the back, consisting of a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 40MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 50MP periscopic telephoto camera. Both the internal and external displays are equipped with 20MP cameras.
