OPPO Reno 13 Series to Launch on November 25: Features, Specs, and More

 



OPPO is set to unveil its Reno 13 series smartphones in China on November 25, 2024. The company has teased the upcoming models on its official website, providing a glimpse of their design and features.  


Models and Design  


The Reno 13 series will consist of two models: the Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro. Both smartphones will feature a similar design, including:  



  • Flat displays  

  • A boxy metallic frame with rounded corners  

  • A triple-camera setup on the back  


The Pro model is expected to boast advanced camera capabilities compared to the standard version.  


Global Launch Timeline

  

While OPPO has not shared details about the global rollout, the Reno 13 series is anticipated to arrive in India and other international markets by early 2025.

Display and Build  


The Reno 13 Pro is expected to feature a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, an upgrade from the Reno 12 Pro’s 6.7-inch FHD+ screen. Additionally, it may come with enhanced durability, offering an IP68/IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.  


Performance  


The Chinese version of the Reno 13 Pro is likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, while other regions, including India, may receive a variant with a different processor.  


Cameras  


The Reno 13 Pro’s camera setup is expected to include:  

  • 50MP main sensor  

  • 8MP ultra-wide lens  

  • 50MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom  

For selfies, it may feature a 50MP front-facing camera.  


Battery and Charging  


Battery capacity and charging capabilities are set for a significant boost. The Reno 13 Pro is rumored to house a 5,900mAh battery, replacing the 5,000mAh unit found in the Reno 12 Pro. It will likely support:  

  • 80W wired charging  

  • 50W wireless charging

The Reno 13 Pro will run on Android 15-based ColorOS 15, offering the latest features and customization options.
