Redmi A4 5G Set to Launch on November 20: Features, Specs, and More


Xiaomi is gearing up to officially launch the Redmi A4 5G smartphone in India on November 20, 2024. Previously announced over a month ago, this device is set to be one of the most affordable 5G smartphones in the country, with a starting price of ₹8,499/- (inclusive of discounts).  


Launch Details  

Although the launch date has been confirmed, it is unclear whether open sales will begin immediately. The Redmi A4 5G will ship with Android 14 and offer dual SIM support with 4G active on both SIM cards. Connectivity options include:  

Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac  

GPS  

Bluetooth 5.10  

USB Type-C  



Display and Performance  

The Redmi A4 5G features a 6.7-inch HD+ display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, making it a standout in its price category. Under the hood, the device is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chipset, designed to handle multitasking and everyday use efficiently. It is supported by a 5,160mAh battery, which comes with 18W wired fast charging.  


Storage and Variants  

This budget-friendly 5G phone will be available in two configurations:  

  • 4GB RAM + 64GB storage  

  • 4GB RAM + 128GB storage  


Both variants should cater to users looking for affordable performance and sufficient storage for their daily needs.  


Camera Features  

The Redmi A4 5G comes with a dual rear camera setup led by a 50MP primary sensor (details about the second sensor remain undisclosed). On the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera for clear video calls and photos.

The smartphone supports dual Nano-SIM cards and is compatible with 5G networks, further enhancing its value as an entry-level 5G device.
