Now, there's some good news for all those who have been wanting to get their hands on the iPhone 15. Flipkart, as part of its End of Reason Sale, is offering a great deal on the smartphone. The sale kicked off on June 1 and will be live until June 12. Read on to know all about the deal
iPhone 15 available at discount on Flipkart
The 128GB variant of the vanilla iPhone 15 is currently available at a direct 18 percent discount on Flipkart. This means that the phone is available for Rs 71500 without any additional offers. This price can be reduced even more if you have a Flipkart Axis Bank Card or have an old smartphone that you can exchange. The better condition your smartphone is in, the higher price will it fetch.
The iPhone 15 comes with a 6.1-inch display and was launched in five colour options - pink, yellow, green, blue, and black. For the iPhone 15, Apple retained the same design as the iPhone 14 and previous models this time as well. However, instead of the usual notch, we got a Dynamic Island notch, which was a hit with the iPhone 14 Pro models last year.
There were also some major upgrades in the camera department as the iPhone 15 comes with a 48-megapixel primary camera sensor this time. The phone also promises better low-light photography and portrait shots. In terms of battery, the tech giant said during the launch event that the iPhone 15 comes with an "all-day battery life".
A recent report revealed that the iPhone 15's battery life is double of what was promised at the time of launch. When the iPhone 15 was launched, it was said to withstand 500 charging cycles and still retain 80 percent of battery health. However, Apple recently said that the iPhone 15 models can retain 80 percent of their battery capacity even after 1000 charging cycles
Coming to the processor, the iPhone 15 is powered by Apple's A16 bionic chip. Last year, Apple used the A15 bionic chipset in the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, while the Pro models got the faster, and better, A16 chip.
Another feature of the iPhone 15 that was much-talked about is the shift to the USB Type C charging port. Apple completely said goodbye to the lightning port with the iPhone 15 and embraced the more commonly used USB Type-C charging.
