Live 2024 Exit Polls: Result Projections for Lok Sabha and State Elections to be Revealed Today, Congress Chooses Not to Participate in TV Debates

Following the conclusion of the final phase of polling, marking the end of the extensive voting process that commenced on April 19, exit poll results for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 will be unveiled on Saturday. Although the counting of votes is scheduled for June 4, television channels and news outlets will be authorized to broadcast exit poll data and results today after 6:30 pm, in accordance with the guidelines of the Election Commission.

Exit polls will offer insights into the voting patterns of the 18th general elections in India. Notably, political analysts such as Prashant Kishor and Yogendra Yadav have already provided their predictions for the electoral outcome of Lok Sabha Elections 2024, adding to the anticipation. While Kishor foresees Prime Minister Narendra Modi leading the incumbent BJP government to another victory, potentially matching or exceeding its 2019 seat tally of 303, Yadav suggests that the saffron party-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) may face challenges in securing a decisive victory.

Exit polls provide an indication of voters' preferences, based on interviews conducted immediately after they exit the polling stations, offering insights into their voting behavior during the election.
