CMF Phone 1: Price and Specifications Leaked Ahead of July 8 Launch
Nothing has confirmed the upcoming release of its budget-friendly smartphone, the CMF Phone 1, in India and other global markets on July 8. With the launch date approaching, a recent leak has provided significant insights into the device's specifications and anticipated price.
Design and Customization
Nothing has revealed that the CMF Phone 1 will feature a rotating screw on its back, suggesting that users may have the option to customize or change the back panel of the smartphone.
Expected Specifications
According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the CMF Phone 1 is anticipated to feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ LTPS AMOLED display, capable of reaching a peak brightness of 2000 nits (800 nits in high brightness mode) and offering a variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The phone is also likely to have an IP52 rating for splash and dust resistance, along with an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.
Under the hood, the CMF Phone 1 is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. It may come with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage, with support for expandable storage up to 2TB via a microSD card slot.
Camera and Battery
The CMF Phone 1 is rumored to feature a dual-camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor and a depth sensor. The device is expected to be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. It is anticipated to run on Nothing OS 2.5 based on Android 14, with a promise of 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of security patches.
Expected Price
According to Brar, the 6GB RAM/128GB storage variant of the CMF Phone 1 could be priced at ₹15,999, while the 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant might be priced at ₹17,999. These prices are expected to include all bank discounts.
