Maharashtra's "Ladki Bahin" Yojana (scheme) for women empowerment, see the details

 


Finance Minister Mr. Ajit Pawar presented the Interim Budget of the state in the House. This budget is important in the background of upcoming assembly elections (Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024). Ladki Behna Yojana, free education for girls, schemes for unemployed were announced in this budget. While presenting the budget, Mr. Ajit Pawar announced the Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana. This scheme will be implemented from July 1.


Eligible women between 21 to 60 years of age will be given Rs 1500 per month by the government under Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana. Finance Minister Mr.Ajit Pawar informed that it will be implemented from July 2024. Chief Minister My Beloved Sister Scheme has been implemented with immediate effect. Eligible women will get Rs. 1500 per month.


Beneficiary : Women between 21 to 60 years of age


Condition : Yearly income less than 2,50,000


Which women will benefit from the scheme? (Ladki Bahin Yojana)


1. The beneficiary woman must be a resident of Maharashtra state.


2. Married, widowed, divorced, abandoned and destitute women of the state.


3. Till completion of minimum age of 21 years and maximum age of 60 years.


4. Beneficiaries applying for benefits under the scheme must have a bank account.


5. The yearly income of the beneficiary family should not exceed 2.50 lakhs.


Which women will be not eligible?


1. Whose combined annual family income is more than Rs.2.50 lakhs.


2. Beneficiary's family member is an income tax payer.


3. Whose family members are working as regular/permanent employees/contractual employees in a Government Department/Undertaking/Board/Government of India or a local body of a State Government or are drawing pension after retirement. But workers and employees working through external agencies and voluntary workers will not be disqualified.


4. The said beneficiary woman has availed more than Rs. 1500 through financial scheme implemented through other department of Govt.


5. Whose family member is a sitting or former MP/MLA.


6. Beneficiary's family members are Chairman/Vice-Chairman/Director/Member of Board/Corporation/Board/Undertaking of Government of India or State Government.


7. Whose family members jointly own more than five acres of agricultural land.


8. Those who have four wheelers (excluding tractors) registered in the name of their family members.


How to apply to avail the scheme?


1. Online Application for Scheme Benefit


2. Aadhaar Card of Beneficiary


3. Domicile Certificate of Maharashtra State/Birth Certificate of Maharashtra State


4. Income certificate of head of family issued by competent authority (Annual income up to 2.50 lakhs, Xerox copy of first page of bank account passbook)


5. Passport size photograph


6. Ration card


Undertaking to comply with the terms and conditions of the said scheme


1. Beneficiary Selection Eligibility of Beneficiary of 'Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana' Anganwadi Sevika/Supervisor/Mukhya Sevika/Setu


2. Beneficiary application form after submission and online verification by Suvidha Kendra/Gram Panchayat/Gram Sevak/Ward Officer


3. Submitted to the Competent Officer, Gram Adhikari should control the work accordingly for the said scheme


Responsibilities of Anganwadi Sevika/ Paryaveshika Chief Sevika/ Setu Suvidha Kendra/ Gram Panchayat/ Gram Sevak/ Ward Officer and Competent Officer are as follows.


Application Process- Scheme applications can be filled online through portal/mobile app/Setu Suvidha Kendra.

Thereafter, the amount received will be transferred to the eligible women's Aadhaar linked bank accounts every month.
